Coronavirus Announcement & Updates

Posted on: May 27th, 2020 by Our Team

Update: 5/26/20

We are excited to announce that Governor Murphy issued Executive Order 145, permitting the resumption of elective surgical and elective invasive procedures as of Tuesday, May 26, 2020. Bariatric and general surgery fall under this provision, and therefore allows our practice to begin performing procedures yet again! If you have a scheduled procedure this announcement is to notify you that we are on track and the date of your procedure is secured.
Although we are back operationally we ask that certain rules be adhered to when entering the office for consultation, pre/post operative visits, treatments or procedures.
The following requirements are for the safety of both yourself and our office staff:
  • Avoid person-to-person contact in the office when applicable
  • Facilitate social distancing within the office, especially in the waiting room
  • Wear a mask when entering the office (unless you are asthmatic or require supplemental oxygen)
  • Wash hands when entering the office in the waiting room bathroom before speaking to reception staff or clinicians.
  • Reschedule appointment if you have experienced a fever, or flu like symptoms within the last 15 days.

The following changes have been implemented for your safety and care:

  • Enhanced office cleaning and disinfection
  • Rigorous PPE protections for staff to prevent cross contamination
  • Reduced patient numbers within the waiting room
  • Enhanced COVID-19 preoperative screening and testing
  • Posted COVID-19 guidance for patients and staff around our offices

If you have any questions regarding this notice, feel free to contact our office at (732) 640-5327.

Stay happy and healthy!
